Requirements

As a Sales Engineer, you will:


  • Be the LightBeam SME to your customers and partners. 

  • Partner with the solution architects and engineers at channel partners bringing to them a unique converged solution for data security, privacy and AI governance.

  • Be fluent with the overall security landscape, helping customers and partners realize their current gaps in data security and governance.

  • Help channel partners understand the privacy and AI landscape, and arm them with the right solutions for them to demonstrate to their customers.

  • Implement best practices cross functionally for effective pre-sales customer engagements to shorten our sales cycles.

  • Partner with the marketing team to help them creatively tell compelling stories around data security, privacy and AI governance.

  • Be the voice of the customers into internal planning with the product mgmt team.


Qualifications:


  • Strong technical background in cloud, security, and infrastructure stacks. 

  • Minimum 7 years of B2B technology sales engineering experience with at least 3 years in security, privacy or governance domains.

  • Deep relationships with customers and partners alike in your region.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Customer Success and Product Management.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for embracing challenges and driving innovation.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in helping both enterprise and mid-market customer segments.

  • Experience in privacy enhancing technologies.

  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
